In order to support organizers in the planning and implementation of congresses and corporate events, there are various funding opportunities in the individual Austrian federal states, regions and cities. Depending on the planned size and timing of the event, various funding options are available.
Green Meetings – Certified with the Austrian Ecolabel
Green Meetings are characterized by increased energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmentally friendly travel to and from the event for participants. Regional economic development and social responsibility are additional aspects. The Austrian Convention Bureau provides information relevant to Green Meetings and works closely with the Austrian Ecolabel and the Association for Consumer Information (VKI).
